You went ham on these dead threads. I removed the cats from my truck and left the “shell” of the cat(cut a window out the side) and it sounds and performs better, however, I should cut and replace with an actual tube. I had just spent sooooo much time, cutting, drilling and tapping the manifolds to not want to remove them. I just call it a “power bomb” exhaust, although it isn’t. I will agree with the exhaust tuning portion, and the scavenging effect between cylinders.

Banging out the internals of a cat works half decent, though it may not flow quite as well as a smooth tube would have, still it's way better than the stock complete cat. I don't blame ya for not wanting to mess with it, it's a hassle no doubt.

I couldn't leave the thread alone, that topic really confuses so many folk when it shouldn't which is a bummer because they end up making a lot of exhaust changes in the wrong direction needlessly.
