this morning I walked out to my car and open my rear door my dome light I noticed was flashing about 3 times 4 times maybe and then turned off and continues to do it if I use the key fob to unlock the door instead of turning on for 10 seconds it just flashes a few times and then turns off any thoughts on this, it is a 1995 disco

 

Your timer for that is the multi function unit, a plastic box on the back of the fuse panel. Controls lots of things that need timing.
