doors don't lock at the same time
on my 96 Discovery when you turn the key in the door lock the rear door locks as the others unlock or unlocks as the others lock. Tried unplugging the rear door for one the key but that didn't change the cycle. Other suggestions?
Get out RAVE electrical guide, locate connector C306, which supplies the lock/unlock power to rear doors, and reverse the wires on it. One polarity runs lock motor to latch, the other polarity runs lock motor to unlock. Page 251 of 556 for the 96 electrical manual in the RAVE. Normally all doors other than driver door are fed in parallel, so they should all go the same direction. Driver door is on separate circuit.
If all doors are wrong, except driver's, then assume problem lies in the driver door actuator and key switch.
