I think 1 more project and I will finally have all of my steering and high speed instability sorted out... I am going to replace the swivel pins.

I am going to get the kit from Rovah Farm, but I was thinking that while I am in there tearing everything apart, I may as well address the leaky swivel *****.

Rovah farm sells a seal kit for the swivel *****, but I am curious of how extensive of a job is this? Will I have to pull the CV's? I dont mine turning a few extra wrenches, but I would like to get this entire project done in 1 day.

There are a lot of small steps that must be done in order but its not hard. Yes the Cv will come out. But it slides out w the entire entire axle attached. Unless you're replacing it you dont have to do anything with it.

Im the type of person that cant learn from pics or words. I need to watch. This video is the best in my opinion


Its really much easier than it sounds. You'll need a couple of specialty tools but they are cheap. The rest is basic hand tools.

I did this to my truck over a year ago, works perfect.
The only thing I would do different is use RTV on the side that mates to the swivel.
Takes a hour for both sides, AtlanticBritish also sells this kit but I cant find it.
