Default Temp gauge options for a 1995?

I've heard all about the ultra gauge here on the forums, but I have a 1995, so no ODB2 to connect it... Any other recommended options for a reliable digital gauge which doesn't cost a fortune?
thanks

I've asked the same, no answer.

I've seen OBD1 code readers (basically an LED and a button) for specific cars, but I have never seen a scanner that reads sensor voltages.... I think in that era it is car-specific. My old OBD1 and ancient pre-OBD1 BMW's have a big round "test plug" (my old Volvo was square, Audi was rectangular, you get the idea) with a handful of analog sensor voltages available on the pins, I've never been able to find any kind of reader but have had some success by poking around with a multimeter while troubleshooting. No clue if there is even something similar on pre-OBD2 D1

My ScangaugeII claims to be compliant with OBD1 and OBD2.
