I have just bought a 95 series 1 TDi. A great vehicle but the temp and speedo are not working.
I hoped that it was a fuse but I understand the clock is on the same circuit, and that works.
Is the speedo a cable or wire? If it's wire is there an easy way to test whether it's the speedo or the transducer? And how do i get the dashboard apart.

if at all possible stay away from tearing out the dash.... it is a pain in the ***
