Default Temp Guage

Hey everyone I have been doing some reading and there's alot of talk about how the temp guage does not move a whole lot so has anyone put an aftermarket temp guage in there disco? or is there some crazy reason that you cant put one in?

The stock disco temp gauge varies big time. It can be at 9 o'clock and still be 225 degrees! Yikes!

I've often wondered this myself, seems everyone hates them but nobody is running an aftermarket gauge.

You can put in an aftermarket gauge, but a lot of people make the jump to a scan guage or that new toy Spike has posted (ultra gauge?) that gives read out of lots of things like a scanner. About $80. https://landroverforums.com/forum/ro...a-gauge-44097/

A plus for the ultra gauge, as it plugs into diagnostic socket, and can be moved to other vehicles.
