terrafirma light duty
Seems all the recommendations to remove em were the way to go so now mine are off
well, after all of the fuss i decided not to get a lift. i bought the disco with badly rotted tires and have been on borrowed time on them and one let go this morning (thankfully at only 30 mph) and got 245/75-16 cooper AT3s mounted. looks great as is, no lift needed.

gonna do the factory front bumper trim and call it a day. thanks for all of the insight anyway, hopefully it will help someone else out in the future.

I'm running TF light duty 2" on 245/75/16's and drive an average of 120 miles per day on chewed up back roads & highway. I didn't go for the bumpers, but have a Hannibal roof rack. I did replace the bushings with an orange polybush kit & tie rod ends from Lucky8 when the lift was installed. The ride is smooth & the handling is better than stock if that helps.
