So, found a 1991 D1 for sale that's going for only $100.
Assumed it only needs "a battery and Fuel pump" but I don't buy that. Just seeing if there are any people in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Tx. area with a trailer that could haul that heavy of a vehicle (do not wanna tow due to being 4 wheel all the time of course). If anyone's on board, I'd more than gladly pay for the vehicle and half on the fuel costs. Or if ya don't want the vehicle I'd cover fuel and a little cash for the time consumed.
Then collectively use it for parts or if it runs flip it for costs. Willing to do 50-50 on it for any profits.

Shoot me a DM if interested. This is cross posted and I'm actively trying to make this happen either way. If I had a trailer it'd be over and done tomorrow.
