Default Thinking about the ole camel cut to fit bigger all terrains

I have a 2 inch suspension lift on my 1998 discovery 1, Ive slowly turned her into a beast. I put the lift on and I slapped some 265/70/ tires on my standard disco rim. Even with the two inch lift i am receiving a little rubbing when i hit lets say a medium size bump, or roll through a ditch. Do you think doing the camel cut will take this problem away? That will solve the back rub if so, I wonder what to do with that pesky front bumper valance....... anyone ever shaved an inch off one if so how does it look?

I removed the front valance from my 98 disco completely and I like the look it's a little rough where the front side markers are but I like the look it looks like it belongs off road. I too have a 2" lift terrafirma medium duty lift. If I can figure out how to post pics I will asap. But the camel will open up the wheel wells for you real good to stuff them tires into. In the front either trim or remove the valance then you may have to trim bumper side marker brackets to rid your self of front end rub or adjust the steering stops. You can trim valance and there are some threads that go into go detail here, and on LRO and disco web about it. I say just remove the whole thing the look is cool and helps with approach angle as well an general clearence up front. My .02

Any pictures would be great. I want to keep the look semi street but still be able to tear up the terrain.
