Default Tire Size Issue

Hello,

I need to drive 20 miles to the nearest Discount Tire to fix a few tires. I need to get by using used tires for now. So, I know it is bad driving on different sizes tires. All are 245 75 16, and the spare is 235 70 16. I need to drive 20 miles to get there, will I majorly mess up the transfer case doing this in my 97 disco?

Any suggestions? One is it OK to drive that short distance, if so what speed? Thanks for any help.

You will be fine as long as you do not lock your t-case.
The differential on that axle will just think you are turning in a long wide circle.
I would not drive across country, but short distances you will be fine.

Perfect reason to invest in a matching spare

And a good reason to invest in a Safety Seal tire repair kit.
