Current status:

Tranny mounted back to the frame!! Progress is wonderful...

Next issues to worry about:

1. Seems that the driver side engine mount rubber got torn some during this process .... Gotta look into replacing that now too.

2. Heat shield that was over the exhaust at the Drivers side of the transfer case was falling apart when i pulled it off... Any tips on an alternative?
1) Replace both motor mounts with Jaguar V12 mounts, #jlm1010. They'll be the last mounts you'll ever need to worry about replacing.
2) Heat shields are overrated. ;-)

I'll look into the Jag mounts... I think this should be sufficient to work till I can get replacements in.. I like the design a lot better though im sure its a fun job to replace the mounts lol.

As for the heat shield. ... ehh im wary bout just skippin it, its where the muffller sits by the tc if I remember right...

Update and call for help..........................

Truck is back together, but I'm having some issues....

Running the truck 1-2 switches fine, 2-3 is shifting hard at around 30 & 3500rpm when accelerating, or if I let off the accelerator it will shift at lower rpm, but still a noticeable clunk.

3-4 seems to not be working at all, I had the truck up to ~45mph and it was still in 3rd with rpm >3000 ...

I'm hoping there is some adjustment that can be done here and its something stupid and not a bad transmission I just spent all this time/effort to put in...

Thoughts are appreciated. And before you ask, I did make sure P is park and N is neutral on the shifter, 1,2 seem to line up as well 3-D will flip between the two but no noticeable effect...

Thanks guys

Sounds like at least one of the two cables is out of adjustment.

The kickdown cable was way out of adjustment for the tranny. Set it to where it should be based on RAVE and will test as soon as i can get the beast started...........

Started and ran, still shifts a bit hard between 2-3, seems to bog down a bit.

I think the kickdown cable still isn't aligned properly, will make some more adjustments but it ran WAY better
