Yes... No need to get under the vehicle at all... Ya will have to drill out a few rivets that hold the access cover to the floor board though... The only other issue was figuring out how to remove the shifter ****... the gear shifter handle has a snap in cover... under it is a clip, then y remove the locking button, then ya can get at the nut (19mm I think)... The rest is pretty straight forward... There is a really good write up (with pictures) on it on one of these forums...

Here's one write up on the process (without the pics)...
Part #11 is what was froze up on mine... Some heat and penitrating oil freed her up though...
