Default transmission override

can any of you fine fellas tell me where i would find the button to get my 97 disco1 into neutral my wife lost one key an broke the other an its parked in front of the garage an we need to get our camper out today thanks folks

I guess there are 2 ways.

I suggest this one:

Remove the steering column shroud(Three screws on bottom) and locate the ignition. At the back of the ignition is a round black connector that fits into the metal ignition barrel. Remove the 2 very small phillips head screws on each side. Pull out connector and use a screwdriver to turn the socket on the black connector to start the truck and move it.

The other way is too complicated for me to explain, and you will still need to push the car.

put the transfer case in neutral and roll it out of the way

^ well that's not complicated at all!!!

So, there is a third and easier than all options way...
