trip is from so cal to st louis. i'm in Albuquerque right now. i dont think it'll be too big of a deal, but thats why i stopped when i did, i didnt want it to turn into one.

Have a good trip. This weekend I will be driving from Colorado to St. Louis, I 70 all the way.

Well my transfer case was 1 qt low so it's changed and Lucas added, it's gonna need replacement eventually but it'll make it. Trans was also 1 qt low. They said i should be alright now. I had em service the diffs while it was in so yea.

If you fluid is really bad I would flush it, drive it about 6 months and flush it again. I did mine in Sept. and am planning on doing it again in Jan/Feb. I did the filter on my first flush as well. That was a bit tougher than expected due to the cross beam not wanting to budge. Shifting was smoother after.

I was pretty much assuming it went bad from getting hot but it actually has some life left. Got to oklahoma city with no issues today, actually looks like I had caught the problem just in time.

Got to st Louis with no issues, truck ran like a champ. And it just turned over 179k. Did top off the fluid again, wasn't too low but it looks like it's leaking into my parking brake.
