I finally got time to change my transmission and t-case oil last night and I'll tell you a pump on a gallon jug makes it so much easier. That was the best $8 I ever spent. Anyway I wanted to share the photo of my chip detector on the plug with you. In the jet engine world we call this "ferric fuzz" and it is acceptable as long as it doesn't have any chunks in it. This was the most I've ever seen on one. Check it out! Oh and yes the oil was that dirty. I paid someone to service this thing about a year ago because of my schedule and I think they skipped the transmission. Shifts a lot smoother and is much quieter on the highway.
