Various control systems... BeCM?
Wondering what the various control modules are on the Disco 1 1997.
Does it have a BeCM?
Or just a ECM and various control modules for different features (I.e. window ecm, cruise control module, etc...)
Been surfing the web for what feels like years and can’t get a solid answer.
thanks in advance

They have separate boards for the different systems. the D2 had a BCM. the common confusion is that in 1999, they had a D1 and a D2 in the same year, and they looked somewhat similar. most noticeably on the outside, the rear lights were higher on the corners, and inside they had a more computerized dash.
They also called them all ECU's to further confuse people (Electrical Control Modules)

"maintenance reminder module" that little devil sure made LR some good old easy money back in the day!!!!!! Sucker would go off and people would haul butt down to the Dealership to have it looked at/reset. I remember it being around a $250.00 job. All for a tech to just stick a paperclip into that relay module to reset it.... When all you had to do was unplug it and toss it into the trash!
