I posted on here about leaving the sunroof open a bit and soaking the rear area. Well after peeling back the carpet, and the padding, I found a big long hole alongside the floor panel, between the center panel and the right side floor. I have decided to scrape out the rust and use fiberglass to repair the gap, and strengthen what is left of the floor on the pass side. inside fender wall looks good, as does the center of the floor so stripping to bare metal and fiberglass seems easier than cutting and welding in new patches. Since it will be covered with padding and carpet, Not too worried about the finish.
Drivers side looks good except or a small rusted area which is still strong so it will get cleaned and painted.
