Also, just make sure it wasn't there when you parked. That one gets me all of the time. I pull into a lot and park, come out and panic when I see a puddle. It's usually from the car that was parked there before me.

I had a very slight leak for the last few years and finally found it to be the little short hose that goes from the metal curved pipe into the block right behind the alternator.

While I had the alternator off, I replaced both of the heater hoses and just left that curved section of pipe out and ran the heater hose directly to the nipple on the block.

That short hose was the original from 1996 assembly date. It had multiple splits in the outer layers and the coolant more or less seeped or sweated thru the hose a few drops at a time and would collect on top of the water pump. No longer leaks with the new heater hoses on.

Yes. You read that correctly Granted, I have never tasted dog urine, I imagine it would be salty, not sweet like coolant. Not to mention I can't imagine my large dogs crawling under the Landy to do their business, so I was expecting the sweet taste of coolant, which is what it was.

My wife was not around. LMAO if that was what you were 'what?ing' I KNOW my wife wouldn't craw under the Landy for ANY reason.

(I do let my three large dogs into the garage each night)
