My Eastwood welder and Plasma were $1000. The plasma is one of the lower models but I've cut 1/4" with no problem. Plasmas are pretty small and don't take up much space.

It says up to 5/8" but I don't think I've ever cut thicker than 3/8" with it. Nice thing about the H/F plasma is it has a pilot arc torch. Not all Chinese rigs have that. Definitely something to keep your eye out for if/when the day comes. Lots of reviews on the internet about it.

I hear you on the out of space thing!

I just had to do some research on pilot arc to see what it was and if mine had it, LOL. It does, and after reading up on it I'm glad it does.

The garage looks like a episode of hoarders , 3 vehicles rest is tools equipt and parts/chemicals no fat people going in there
