Welding aluminum bodywork?

It's probably electro-galvanized, and the zinc is still holding up.

Roof is steel I used to have a few deep scratches on the rear of my roof it was rusting

One of the guys here swapped d2 rear corners on his d1 and stripped the paint to the aluminum, looked great , probly a crap load of work

Scratches on my roof are rusting too. I've got a full interior swap coming up; I'm afraid of what I'll find under the carpet. It was a california desert truck it's whole life save for the last two years it's spent as a leaky pacific northwest truck.

Ah, yeah that would be a bummer.

Side note - is glare from safari lights the reason for the black hood?
