I don't know, but ill find out. In the mean time, I am getting the alternator checked.

Ok, thats enough battery as long as it is charged good.
Have the alt checked.

Got it checked and it is fine. It is giving off a steady 14 volts. I'm now on to checking the ground clamps.

I had my grand paw check out it out with his handy dandy battery checker. The voltage was lower than normal (a tad under 12v.) While cranking it was between 9v and 10v. With the engine running, it was below 13v with all of the electrical goodies on. Im trying to figure out what is wrong here: is the battery or the alternator bad? Alternator was good when the store checked it on their machine. Is there another cause?
