Default West Coast Rovers A+

The 1999 Discovery Series 1 that I bought used, as the 2nd owner, is pretty nice, but I didn't know its history. I was able to find out who the first owner was and look up who maintained it. West Coast Rovers had been the service and customization shop that did the work.

Twice now, they have been happy to look into the previous owner's file to give me information about the truck. They are in Irvine, California, and I live in Tucson, Arizona, meaning that I'll probably never meet the folks that work there. They will probably never make a dime from me due to the distance between us.

My local techs noticed that the rear differential was a locker but didn't know which type (they just changed out the fluids for me). Eddie at West Coast Rovers looked it up and told me that it is a Detroit locker.

If any of my fellow Rover owners live near their shop, I just wanted you guys to know how helpful West Coast Rovers has been to me, way over here in Tucson.

Rock on!

Awesome, they are near me and a few of my friends have used them and said the same... Great service.

I use a guy a little more local, but if he is too busy I will hit them up.

Great to hear of these awesome indie shops. Glad I have one near me. They've floated me ( free of charge ) an a/c compressor and three headlight adjustment posts. Stellar service. Bought my suspension from those guys.
It's pretty cool being apart if such a large community as opposed to my previous experiences with 4x4 with my fords and such. Everyone else seems to be so negative and condescending, whereas I haven't found that with the LR community.

The LR community is tiny compared to Ford and jeep, it's one big disgruntled family! Especially on dweb. Lol. I've come to know a lot of great people through rovers, many of which I've never met but are super helpful and great people.
