Default What are 1998 Disco Jump Seats worth?

What are 1998 Disco Jump Seats worth? in mint condition.

Also, my disco has a tick. Any short answers for this? is there a common most likely issue?

Also, for the sake of not starting a new thread, ... what did the 98 disco cost new? Mine has the towing package and running boards and jump seats...etc etc

Thanks guys!

They all came with the towing package.
A brand new SE was about $40,000, S about $38,000, LSE about $42,000.
To buy jump seats as a kit, brand new, is about $2500 last time I checked but they are very hard to find.
If you have them and want to sell them, maybe $500 for everything.
Most DI owners just remove them at this age because they cut down on storage.
I do not know how much running boards would have been back then, they were a dealer added option, assuming they came on your truck when it was new.
You can buy them after the fact.

That is great. My disco is an LE, meaning it was probably around 35000 new?

No, the "S" was the base model.
I always forget that in '98 LE was the middle model, so around $40,000 for your truck new no extra options.Sun roofs were standard on everything but the base model.

you are a great help. One last question, though you may not be able to answer it, my disco has developed a light tick on the passenger side valve cover. Any ideas on that? I also notice a little jerking at highway speed from time to time, like the engine is "miss firing" or something. I have not looked at all the wires yet, but I will. Is this a common issue?

Well as for the tick, how long have you owned the truck?
What motor oil are you using and how often do you change it?The tick can be caused my any one of 1,000 different things.

What would mine be?
It has jump seats, rear a/c, no power seats, two moon roofs, leather seats(I've seen some with cloth). When I check specs, it says a 23gal tank, I can only put 15, sup with that?

5w-30 is the wrong oil for these engines, 5w-40, 10w-40 or 15w-40.
15w-40 diesel oil is best for these things.
I dont know where you live, if it gets cold in the winter then 5w-40 diesel oil is best.
Change it every 3,000 miles if you dont use diesel oil, if you use diesel oil you can go 5,000 miles.
It came with 10w-40 from the factory and that is what the dealer used.
They will tick if you use 5w-30, or rather be more likely to tick.
It gets to thin and cant protect the engine very well.

As far as I know none of the '95's had power seats, depending on what trim line yours is, middle or top depends on the sticker price.
Middle trim with those options I'd say around $43,000.
Top trim $45,000.
The '95 SD that I bought last summer still had the window sticker in the glove box, it was $38,000 brand new, no extra options.

And I mis spoke earlier, "S" was the base trim in the DII, "SD" was the base trim in the DI.
