What are those connectors? Discovery 1 with ABS 98'
Hello, someone made a connection from rubber hose and worm hose clamps.. As I know theres 200+ bar in braking system and well... That's why my brakes are dead.
I'd like to get back to original connection. So could someone tell me what is the part that I've marked on the photo??
Instead of where the coupler is there is a piece of rubber hose with hose-clamps, yes?
If the bubble flares are still there and the flare nuts are hanging out on the lines, all you need is a 3/16" coupler (union) with M10 x 1.0 threads for bubble style flares.
Probably find them in your local parts house.
But if the nuts and flares are gone, you will need to get some nuts and flare the ends.
I dont know how is that possible that this site has more precise diagrmas than more popular that I've visited. Thanks a lot that's all I wanted to know !!!

Yeah I need to dig deeper but thanks for your advice also. Honestly I've made this thread just to see If the connection that was originally there is elastic or stiff but seems that you guys gave me more info that I've needed
Pretty sure those are solid connections. Flexible hose is from bracket mounted on underside of body to top of rear diff.
Picture below only has one but with ABS, there should be two flex lines.
pretty sure the union location you show in the schematic is at the lower footwell/firewall on the (US) drivers side. that is where mine rusted out.
It is prolly best to replace all break pipe if these are rusted. as the rest are going to go soon
if you decide too replace all the hard lines..... post back and I will detail what I learned when I did mine
I sourced my parts at napa btw
