So check it out, im saving 20$ day still on this bike, actually sold the first 250r blue ninja for a red one. Started off getting 60mpg now I drive that thing as fast as it goes EVERYWHERE and am getting about 48mpg. I am saving 80$ a month in insurance. No regrets so far. But Im getting a GSXR 600 for a great deal. And am going to sell this bike. I might as well. Im getting about the same MPG.

I am however going to be in need of a vehicle still. I need to contact the lady about the 1000$ 03 discovery. Its still sitting there. Im still interested. But honestly I have been thinking of Tacoma's..

I love discoveries. I really do, that damn engine is an outdated POS. Even in a 4.6. Im thinking how I could get a newer vehicle with a much more advanced engine with VVTi and it would still be much more reliable. And get better MPG to boot. The 4.0 v6 AVERAGED 18mpg [same I got with my 4.0 v6 frontier] with 265hp

I do want a bed too.. But Id feel lost not owning a LR. if this 03 doesn't work out, ill consider an 04 but it'll be easier to finance a newer vehicle.

No seriously I really miss the rover.. Damn, whyd they have to fk up such a beautiful thing?

 

I just came back from a fishing trip. I achieved 16.1 MPG over 401 miles in very rough terrain, and a loaded truck. Steep hills, and very bad dirt roads where it was basically impossible to drive faster than 30 mph without breaking something, a huge traffic jam on my way there, and some off-road to get closer to the lakes and avoid walking. I was happily surprised when I calculated the fuel economy for the trip.
