Running out to grab some 1/2 barb fittings. Hoping to screw them directly into the factory oil cooler lines and run the new line to my remote oil cooler.
What size are they? I can't exactly unscrew them and then drive my truck to the store!

Likewise! I'm a huge Rob Bell fan, I'll definitely have to come say hey sometime! If you're ever in Los Angeles, let me know.
As for having a second car... what's the point of Land Rover then? A fully capable trail rig with heated leather seats and air conditioning? I don't need a second car!!

Aside from a little air trapped in the cooling system the only work I do on her (which, it should be said, is a significant amount!) is either tinkering or preventative maintenance.
My girlfriend's year old Scion, however? Can somebody please please tell me where Japanese quality control has gone??

I was in L.A. 2 years ago, I would have driven you to the parts store had you asked in my rented Volvo.
I think when Toyota tried to pass GM as the worlds largest car maker they made the same mistakes the domestics do, numbers not quality.
There was a time when all Toyota cared about was quality, I think they are going to return to those times.
