whats your rovers MPG?
MPG and rover don't really compute, should it not read GPM ???
over here with petrol/gas at 2.10 a litre or $9.45 NZD a gallon or in USD terms about $7.08 a gallon we notice the refill price !!! and americans complain gas it to dear over there
i have figured out, if i drive it 300ks then it WILL cost me $150 in fuel, hence the other post about the m62 V8, which has to be better than the 3.9 rover for economy, or if i can locate one a LS1 repower.
but have new job, get paid a ****eload less than before, so will have to wait a while
cheers

dont really care what mpg I get. Did not buy the 03 D2 for mpg but for the towing and been relatively easy to work on. Although SWMBO does wine worse than a series grear box when i have to fill it up every other week
We only complain because of how much it has changed in recent memory.... it's about tripled since I started driving, and I'm not very old.
One reason our prices are so low compared to other countries is that, contrary to popular belief, we still produce more of our own oil than what we import from any one country.
In 2010 we produced 5,482 thousand barrels per day. Our largest import was from Canada, and we imported 1,971 thousand barrels per day, followed by Mexico at 1,132 and Saudi Arabia at 1,072 thousand barrels per day.

, was in canada a month ago and the amount of the oversize trucks/pickups was funny to see, granted there were a heap of Japanese brands on the road as well, .other reason your prices are so low is they are subsidized..... and invading a few countries to get oil access is not out of the question either,
wait until you get to pay true cost as the rest of us seem to, then you will know the meaning of fuel costs!!!

My average so far this year is 14.5, that is total for the year starting in January.
And since then I have spent $1.373.45 and bought 354.33 gallons of gas.
