Wheel Bearings and Steerin Box's
1. Yes and no. They can be going bad, but not exhibiting overt symptoms yet.
2. Leaking, sloppy steering, unable to adjust out play when there's movement to input but no drop arm movement.

The rears are only 4-6 months old. The fronts were cleaned/packed at the same time( was replacing the rotors).
My front end is doing something funny. It almost feels loose at times, but a little tight at others. I have done extensive work on the front, to get rid of a wooble(shocks, rebuilt swivel housing, stub axle, all 4 rod ends, steering stabilizer, panhard and control arm bushings)
The only thing I can think of is the bearings or steering box. I dont have much-if any- slop between the steering box input and output.
I do get a light almost snap-like sound from the drivers front when turning( any speed), which was leading me to the bearings. But if I jack my front wheel off the ground and try to move it, I have absolutley no play in any direction. BUT, when I do jack it up, I can see the tire physically move in relation to camber, prob a good 1/2 inch.
