Curious if anyone has any good leads on places to buy a complete D1 engine, and any idea how much it should cost me?

Ah yeah I spotted that one. Could be good, could be a POS. It does come with a 60-day warranty, so that might be something. Basically my engine is toast and any average engine would be better than what I've currently got. I was hoping someone knew of a good source for remanufactured engines or could even give a range for how much a decent used one would cost.

 

What's toasted about it. Unless you have a seven cylinder with a window it's a pretty basic engine to put back together right.

 

someone is parting out a landrover that was in good running order in los angeles, the engine is available. I have ran into some landrover parts people around the US, where are you located? go on google and type in national used car part website, its car parts.com I believe, it lists all wrecking yards in US and they list landrover parts, engines etc.
