Where exactly is the Crank Position Sensor on a 3.9L engine?

Default Where exactly is the Crank Position Sensor on a 3.9L engine?

Can anyone direct me to where exactly the Crank Position Sensor on a 3.9L Discovery with distributor at the front is?

Check the rave. Pretty sure it's above the oil filter.

The distributor takes the place of the crank position sensor. The dizzy equipped vehicles have an electronic ignition amplifier that frequently overheats and mimics a bad CKP, no spark when hot, etc. There is a relocation kit that moves it to a cooler spot.

Yup, 3.9l don't have them.
