Default turn the key on and hear ticking.

Was doing some cleaning up and I must have soaked something, Turning the key to the on position I was hearing a click (just one) now it sounds like a ticking sound or fas clicking and back to no fuel pressure. I cleaned the connectors on the relay under the hood as I found that when I loose fuel pump pressure and play with that relay (pair) it seemed to help. now I got something new...

Sounds like a starter. Let it dry out good.

engine turns ove fine. I think I have cleaner fluid (from contact cleaner spray) inside the MFU and it is causing the circuits to go on and off quickly. Took the relay apart and dried it out and cleaned some corrosion from between the plug in pins on the smaller connector. Batt voltage is good. Same with starter.

Installed the cleaned MFU, started right up and purrs like a Land Rover..

Correction: I cleaned out the relay unit in the engine compartment. I drove about 5 miles, shut it off and now it doesn't start again. Thinking I may have soaked water into the Engine Control Module, located in the right rear corner behind the washer bottle. Gonna pull the washer bottle and see what I can see.

Pulled the GEMS module and found corrosion on the bottom edge, and inside on the case. May have been messing up a ground as the spots for the screws on the circuit board also showed signs of white powdery corrosion.

I assume this should be sealed from the elements.
