Anyone knows quick fix for the wiper delay mode?..my '98 Disco works fine on all other settings but the delayed setting is interrupted...wipers stop halfway!

My '97, that was sitting fire about three years, did that a lot. Noticed it Got better after several days of moderate/heavy rains using the wipers in low and high. Still will hiccup in intermittent occasionally but seems to get better.
Read that the fix is getting into the wiper motor.

 

I went through this on my 98.....the delay feature is intergral to the wiper motor...a few guys have taken the wiper motor apart and somehow fixed it....I went for a used wiper motor....sooner or later they wont work at all...lol
