Wiring Reverse Lights to Rear Rack
Hello All,
I have a set of LED lights I would like to connect to the reverse lights.
Can I do all the wiring from the rear of the truck? Would I simply be taping the LED lights into the factory reverse light wire and than grounding them?
The LEDs are (2) 7inch lights that are 36watts. 72watts combined dived by 12volt is 6amp.

I wouldn't recommend "taping the LED" lights.
Do you want to always have those lights come on anytime you're in Reverse? Backing out of your driveway, blinding people in the mall parking lot, etc? Or just wire them to a switch when you need them?
Either way it's best to wire in a relay and have a switch or the stock reverse light be the trigger, with the relay pulling power from the battery.
