Off Road driving lights!
Okay I ordered some off road driving lights just got them in now I'm trying to figure out how to wire them. My truck has 2 buttons for fog lights on the instrument cluster that's not being used because my truck didn't have that option. I would like to use 1 of these buttons for the lights in the front which would be a total of 6 lights 2 for brush guard 4 for roof rack. Then I want to use the other button for the 1 light in the rear on roof rack I have done a little research but I haven't seen someone hooking up this many lights. And of course I want thim to come on with my bright. So my question is how many lights can I hook up 1 relay / 1 switch have no clue how to do this many lights? What is my best option guys?
I believe it depends on the lights, here's a smaller one: LAND ROVER PARTS - HELLA WIRING HARNESS - HELLA LAMPS
and here's the one for the big Hella 4000 series: LAND ROVER PARTS - HELLA RALLYE 4000 WIRING HARNESS

Do you mean you want them to come on automatically when you turn on your brights? If so then the switch on the dash does not matter. Or do you mean that you want the brights to triggger the allowance to turn on a dash switch? This later seems like too much work.
I woul use a seperate switch and relay for the brush guard, then the roof and then the rear light. If you do a lot of camping you may want some work type lights on the side of the rack, again would be nice for it's own switch or maybe tied wiht the rear switch.
Good Luck.
