Default X brake

Anybody have any experience with X brake ? The idea of a disk brake rather than a drum break as an emergency brake sounds like it would be more efficient and easier to maintain.

I doubt it, nobody maintains their drum brake!
It's a lot of money for something I barely use anyway.
