I have a 01 disco that will crank, but will not start. This happened after the battery went dead. I have since replaced the battery and received a code P1673. I read a lot of threads about this, and all basically said the same thing, that the ECM and BCU are out of sync. So I sent and purchased a syncmate, and when I plug it in I get a single red LED flash. This mean that the EMS did not respond to wake up. How do I wake this EMS up? I like this rover but this has gotten me frustrated. Anybody out there have any suggestions?
