To a point, misfires could also be injectors. I am not sure if clogged injectors will present a code unless its injector circuit related that caused its malfunction. Some codes like P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0205, P0206, P0207, and P0208. I think the way to test them is to check them individually.

If your up to the task, then its not too difficult. Couple of bolts but a lot of patience. Its hard to see from the engine. You'll be able to see just the front ones. Its a job almost near doing a head gasket, almost. This only if you have to do it. Its just because, once you get in there, you might end up replacing a bunch of stuff. Something like, after putting things back you might have wished you change the head gasket. Its just roughly six bolts to get down there. Give and take, a month of work and waiting for parts. Better have all the parts. Injectors cost about -$100 remanufactured for 8pcs. Got those when I replaced my head gasket.

Well, if you decide to take a plunge, there were about 6 guys in this forum who did the head gasket since november. I'm sure there are plenty here who can help in case you get stuck. Cheers!
