02 Sensors beaten down topic Disco Mike
I've read all the threads on the board on this and have seen Disco M saying to start with o2 sensor replacement before replacing the MAF. I changed out the two pre cat sensors and am still getting a p0130 code. I was assuming that the Ultra Gauge resets the codes when you hit the clear codes option on the Ultra Gauge. Is this right? Also, if I'm still getting the codes, is the next problem most likely the MAF? or could it still be throwing codes on the rear o2 sensors (have not replaced post cat sensors.)
I was thinking the rear o2 sensors don't utilize the ECU or any engine management, fuel trim etc? I suppose this depends on the vehicle?

some emission codes have to be driven a certain amount of miles before they clear. that way you can sit at the inspection station clearing them while waiting for your turn.

So I've driven over 60 miles and am still getting the CEL and recently a bit of on and off rough idle when sitting still. I'm trying to figure out what the next steps are on this. I'm around 107K miles on the truck. I haven't changed out the plugs since I've had the vehicle which has been about a year. Any advice on the MAF or anything else to clear the p0130 code Ima still getting?
I'm finding two Bosch MAF sensors at Parts Geek, one Bosch for 100 and one for 200 which is a Bosch OEM. Is there much quality difference in brands for these as the price ranges are all over the place. I figure I'll go ahead and replace it since it's only 100 bucks.
