Which one is supposed to be the blinker. Top or bottom light ? located on the Headlight.

Believe it's the bottom.

I ended up fitting an LED side light to the front headlamp unit so that with side lights on i have an amber lamp to the front side, and then when indicating i have a more amber flashing light there.

I'm in the UK so we have amber indicators here. Amber marker lamps to the side, white to the front and red to the rear.

I did have it setup like that and it was quite good. Alas I had a minor collision with a traffic bollard and smashed the front corner in. When I fitted the replacement headlamp cluster I couldn't find the white/amber led spare so just went with one LED for the indicator. Which is a shame but oh well.

My next plan is to do the side at the rear for both indicator and side lamp. That will be more tricky as the light cluster is red back there. We shall see

 

I have the Euro lights on my Disco. So white on the bottom for front markers and amber on top for the indicators.
