If you are in the US that is illegal.

Nope, no way to get around illegal except being legal.
I drive for a living and people who retrofit HID's, etc. into their halogen bulb housings need to be taken out behind the barn, beat with the threaded end of a lead pipe and then shot in the knee caps with a .22 before putting a .30-.06 round in their skull.

That may sound harsh, but I have been blinded so many times that it is beyond ridiculous.

Spike, Please believe me when i say i completely agree with you about hid bulbs in halogen housings. i myself have cursed out friends and coworkers for doing it. What im talking about is completely modifying the headlight housing itself, smoothing the glass, and installing an hid compatiable projector AND shroud so that you have your perfectly clear cutoff with no obnoxious glare.

As long as you're changing the housing and everything too then ok.
But I do not have any idea where to get the parts, sorry.
