Default '03 Disco intermittent stutter/stalling ???

Hey guys, I have a slight problem with my '03 Disco. For a couple months it sometimes hesitates slightly usually when just slightly pressing on the accelerator. No "Change Engine Light" (yet) I have changed the throttle pos. sensor recently but still does this... sometimes a lot (over and over while driving along at a constant speed). Sometimes it doesn't do it for weeks. Then just today it stalled when I was slowing down to stop at a stop sign. It started right back up and ran fine but, don't want my wife stuck somewhere while I'm at work or something. I was thinking maybe the crankshaft position sensor??? Fuel pump???
Tell me what you think. Thanks in advance for your time and any help you can give.

IMHO you would be wise to check fuel pressure, usually there is a Schrader valve on the fuel rail for this purpose. RAVE gives you accepted PSI range, believe it is somewhere between 32 - 36 PSI. Restricted fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, or fuel pump can all impact fuel pressure. Also, might be a good time to clean the throttle body and MAF with correct type of solvent, rated for the purpose and OK for CATs.

Good idea, I'll check the fuel pressure asap. I don't have a fuel filter but probably have all the other stuff, right??

Well, sorta have filters on the bottom of the fuel pump I guess, (screens or whatever). No external or "easy to replace" filter though.

On D1's it is a little can in-line filter, over the right rear tire. But you just have a sock in the tank.
