Default 03 Disco second row seat removal

Hello fellow Land Rover owners.
I am new to the site and have been pondering the removal of seats in my 03 Discovery to make room for a overnight camping experience this fall.
I can see the bolts holding the seat to the body, is removing the seat as simple as removing these two bolts and man-handeling the seat out of the way, and like wise as easy to reinstall as bolting the seat back in place, does the spring in the seat hinge have any issues?
It looks simple but am I missing a hidden pit fall in here someplace?
My thanks to you fellow members in taking the time to reply.

Regards, Gerald

pull the carpet back in the floorboard and you'll see there are 4 bolts for the large section and 4 bolts for the smaller section...I remember it being a PITA to get the large section out..friend helped me..but I put it back in by myself and it wasn't that bad

Also the the bolts are are a Torks T50. Which can be bought at Lowes or Sears in a multi set. You can use a 3/8 socket to remove them. Better take some breakes or an air racket. the bolts are about 1 1\4" long and will make your arm fall off removing all 4 at once. They are threaded through the floor so you can see the ground when you take the bolts out. I keep my 60% rear seat out all the time because I store my mountain bike upright inside my car. It makes for a lot more cargo room and I dont have to carry people around either! You can sleep back there too if you slide your passengers seat all the way forward. I'm 6ft and at a diagonal I dont touch head or feet on anything. I have made a deck out of those smaller blue rubbermaid totes and an air mattress. My Rover has Limo tint so I can sleep in a Wal-Mart parking lot and no one knows I'm in there if you put up the reflective sun shade

Don't you get tired of living in the Wal_mart parking lot?????

Just kidding, good to know.

I hauled two 36 by 80 antique church doors in mine one day with the passengers seat folded forward and even got the rear doors to shut too.

There is more space in there than it looks like.

I lived in the Wal-Mart parking lot and in a nice neighborhood for about a week in Durango CO last fall. The Wal-Mart parking lot becomes a mobile neighbor hood after 9:30pm. I showered at a drive in car wash nightly. Lets say the soapy power washer is a bad idea on your man parts, but works great on your legs. I saved about $400 on hotels. It was a blast! All my friends were too cheap to come on my mountain biking trip so it was solo while my friends dad was Elk hunting at a lodge up in Dolores, CO. The Rover did great but driving at altitude sux for your horse power.

Use a mallet or something also to tap the socket driver/torx head nice and tight on the bolts before you losen them up for removal. You do not want to strip a torx...then it becomes a nightmare...Might invest in some Liquid Wrench also if they give you any issues breaking lose. Its good to know there are torx on the disco. I have a lot of sizes from the jeep build, hell jeep used torx everywhere....

Yes mine were hard to remove and I should have sprayed some Liquid wrench on them. After I removed them I ground flats on both sides of the huge bolts with a bench grinder,so I could put a Cresent wrench on them when my Torx sockets were at home.

That is one of my favorite SNL skits, along with "need more cow bell", Church Lady & Hans & Frans. But if I was living in a van down by the river, it would be in a Rover. It still would be a good life! As long as it started up for me each day! I mean I have two skylights in my bedroom and two skylights in the Discovery. The ones in the Rover even open 2 ways!
