Default '03 Discovery -Blinking CEL light help!!!!....

Hello....looking for some advice on my '03 SE7 with 93k....I developed a miss and rough idle and triggered code P1300 and misfires on Cyl. #1 and #5..I was on a long trip and I started to get a blinking CEL going uphill....but the engine never overheated......it did have the original wires..I was loosing coolant and oil....
I changed the wires, plugs, and replaced the gaskets from the lower intake manifold up...I found a coolant leak at the lower intake gasket...and the oil loss was from loose valve covers....
After I fired her back up she ran great...but I get P0300 and P0301 codes and it idles very rough...also, at ~ 1,250 RPM the CEL blinks until I give it a little gas and the light goes out....usually comes on going up any type of uphill grade and sometimes right at start-up........I triple checked the wires, I am not loosing coolant, and no coolant in Cyl. # 1......I was doing a bunch of searches and I see MAF's could cause this...any thoughts..thank you!!!.....Dan

This weekend I cleaned the Bank 1, Sensor 1 O2 connector as it was covered in oil from my valve covers....I cleared the codes.....so after ~ 3 days of driving I have a P0301(cyl. 1 misfire) and a P0135(o2 heater circuit, Bank 1, Sensor 1)...and a blinking CEL a few times....Also, I changed all the O2 sensors ~ 65k.....thank you!...

I too replaced my O2 sensors at 68K. You might try pulling the two front O2's and cleaning the carbon off them. I replaced the front right O2 again at 88k and it cured my bad idle. Cleaning them is free and they could be foweled up since it has been running rich/lean. I have not found a good answer for testing a bad ignition coil or MAF. Other than if it throw the MAF code.

Update to the update....not sure what else to do....so...I installed a new MAF, LR model....still idles rough and the blinking CEL is on.....only code is a Cyl 1 misfire....any thoughts at all?.....I read some other posts about switching wires to see if it was the cyl or wires/coil....which one would I swap with #1?...

thank you!!...

P.S. For sale - used MAF Sensor...tested good..
