I'm experiencing the same thing and curious how this went and how the ride is now.
Mine has 214k on original shocks and springs.
I would of expected a "floating" experience like a worn out shock would normal act, but mine is just super rough.
Gravel roads require less than 10mph or it rattles your teeth out.

So...curious how you feel after the install

Don't forget to replace your steering damper when you replace your dilapidated OG springs and shocks. Lots of road irregularities will transmit through to the steering wheel through a worn damper.
