Default 03' Steering stabilizer help

Can someone post a picture of their steering stabilizer setup on their D2? Are they only connected to one side?
I will probably be replacing mine soon.
Are you guys all using the stock setup or can you recommend something to upgrade to?
I have all stock components but will be putting a small lift on soon, and my rig sees only light trail use.

Thanks
Nick

I dont have a pic of mine, but here's a diagram(#28). It is suppose to be mounted at both ends, one to a frame mount, one end to the drag link. As far as replacements, alot use either ome or terrafirma

Thanks for the diagram...
What is the bar called (looks like #24 in the diagram)?

see LAND ROVER PARTS - TUBE - DRAG LINK ROD DISCOVERY II LHD

It's called the draglink. You'll find more nice exploded diagrams on the Rovers North web site.

Is your stabilizer not connected in 2 places? How many miles on your truck and what brand of stabilizer are you planning on? The OME is by far the strongest on the market.

Hi Mike,
Nope, Just picked up my 03' not too long ago, 104k, and I noticed when pulling a front wheel off that the stabilizer is only connected on one side. The truck drives perfectly and has no issues, but it didn't look right to me. I'll take a couple pictures of the linkage and post them so you can see what you think.
Thanks
Nick

Ok, now I am really confused as to what is up with my front end. As these pics show, my drag link is only connected on my passenger side... What's happening? Please help!

Normal. These trucks were designed to be either left or right hand drive. Things just hook up on the other side if the steering wheel and steering gear are on the other side.

Cool, thank you! It just looked weird to me with the driver side "missing" the tie rod end. That make sense to me now. Thank you!
