I have an '04 Disco with 50K miles on it. In the last week the Alarm has suddenly begun going off for no reason and different times. Yesterday was the most recent, the car was locked for hours then the alarm went off, it was in the garage.

I checked the door locks and dissconnected the hood sensor, short of taking this to the dealer, are there any ideas?

 

Are you sure it was the alarm and not just the horn going off?
DII's have been know for the horn button to go bad and short out and start honking for no apparent reason.
