Evening all,


Recently picked up my 04 S-7 Disco and do not have an options list for it. It came with the Durigrain interior, does that mean the seats do not contain heating elements = no leather - no heat? If leather is not the indicator how can I tell if the elements are there - so I can add the switchology?

I think the leather is the key.

 

According to Disco Mike, all LRs with leather have the heating elements whether they have the switches or not. (Please correct me if I am quoting Mike incorrectly.) You can always remove the seat cushion cover and find out for sure if it does or does not have the heating elements in your seat. I would think that if you don't have leather you wouldn't have heating elements but is it a Rover so anything is possible.

 

While installing my new SD rack, the seller mentioned that all of the seats are wired for heat (as far as he knows), you just need the switches, and possible a Testbook meeting to turn them on. I'd like to know for sure about the duragrain, since that is what I have.

 

Where from m8, ? is it a used (new to you) , so want one of these racks but they are like rocking horse poo over here

 

I found a SD rack on a DI, have been trying to get the guy to sell it for almost a year...

Update so far, I talked to At-Brit and they told me there is no rhyme or reason about what the interior is (leather or fake stuff). To pull my switch panel, see if I have two unused connections just laying there, if I do it is wired for heated seats. This is good news (I have them) however, I do not know yet if the - seats - have heating elements in them.

i would assume if there wired they might have them!, im getting excited now, i have duragrain to. ill check out the disco right now, its sitting the the garage.
