The front sun roof on my disco 04 rattled quite a bit when it is full open. The mounting screws that hold the glass to the frame are hard to reach because they are blocked by the headliner. Anybody with suggestions on the tools (allen wrenches) and ways to access these bolts?Is this rattling a common issue with Disco's sunroofs? Really is annoying when driving. Any advices would be appreciated.

 

Mine does the same, I just thank god that at least it never leaked. Didn't know that you could adjust that. I'll look into it.

 

Are you still in warranty, if so you might want to just let the dealer handle it.

I haven't seen any water seepage through the sun roof yet,thank god. It has been a dry season here in So Cal. However, I do feel like the glass will take off while driving as it get looser at speed. I'm still under warranty till end of the year, so in this case it would be a good idea to have the LR service dept. do the tightening of the bolts. Just thought I can handle this simple task myself.
