Default 04 Discovery HSE - Starts Then Doesn't

I have an '04 Discovery with 70k miles on it. Recently (past three days) I've had an issue where the first time I start it up for the day it fires right up and runs great. However, if I turn off the ignition for a few minutes then attempt to start again the starter turns over but the engine doesn't fire. The issue doesn't seem to be electrical at all. If I let it sit for a couple hours and attempt to start again it'll fire right up. Anyone have thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Replace the crank position sensor. It's at 3:00 near the firewall when looking at the motor form the front.

You should be able to pick one up locally for under $80.

Such an awkward, inappropriate, but in this case, very relevant question to ask someone

Yea ylo...I thought about correlating the size of this man’s hands (assuming he IS a man) with the size of his "twig and berries"...but I didn't feel comfortable asking a complete stranger about the size of his junk. I took the high road...

Where's sloppy when we need him?

I thought the correlation is susposed to be with big feet?
